Really high daily temperatures

+20 C and a bit more even, and everything is turning green - it has not been raining in a few weeks so it is really amazing. Spring is early this year, and also due to the lack of rain - I think - are the butterflies; so many that I don't remember such. 

The catkins in the willows are something truly delicate and make me smile out of pure joy.

 And what is it happening here! Springly feelings getting on...

Hope there really will be some rain because water from the melting snow is almost gone...

 Our friend of many years woodpecker is just behind the atelier window...

There is still some snow in these pictures when two deer came to the backyard searching something to eat.

Alder in bloom

It is usually the first one in spring - the alder. Makes the neighbor sneeze and swear. And so small and innocent are the culprits:

The swans are here...

One morning I was walking the dog and there were forty swans on the flooding field by the little river. And three cranes, and many lapwings and a curlew. And in the woods boreal owl  bubbled and black grouse were on display. Quite a lively morning!
